MARTYNKA WAWRZYNIAK / Biography
Martynka Wawrzyniak is a visual artist specializing in photography, performance and video art. Her work has appeared in The New YorkerNew York MagazinePurple, W, Vice as well as many other international publications. She was the co-founder and editor of the arts and culture publication Issue magazine during the period from 1999-2004. Born in Poland in 1979, immigrated to New Zealand in 1987, and moved to New York in 1998, where she currently lives.
